I am working on an 89 Mazda B2200 pickup. I put a motor in it last week and got everything back together and I'm have trouble with it popping back through the carb. I tried adjusting the timing. Also have went through the vacuum lines and still it pops right when you hit the gas. any advice would be nice Thank You.

Is the timing belt installed correctly?
Is the ignition timing correct?
Are the spark plug wires good?
Is the carburettor accelerating pump working?
Have you done a compression test?
