A/C is on it idles very low and rough

I have a 1989 honda CRX 1.5 AT with A/C. The problem is that when the A/C is on it idles low and very rough. I do not know what the problem is, please help. I have turned up the idle but now it surges. Help.

Check the IAC and check for vacuum leaks
