I RECENTLY CHANGED THE HEAD (CRACKED) AND REBUILT THE CARBEURATOR AND HAVE

DRIVEN THE CAR FOR A WEEK OR SO. THE HEATER HOSE CAME OFF THE HEAD AND THE CAR OVERHEATED. WHEN I REFILL THE COOLANT THE CAR STARTS UP BUT WILL NOT RUN UNLESS I KEEP MY FOOT ON THE PEDAL. THE HEATER HOSE WILL BLOW OFF
THE HEAD AGAIN. THEIR SEEMS TO BE PRESSURE IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. THE ENGINE OIL IS OK AND COOLANT IS CLEAR. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS

If the following items are in working order: thermostat, radiator and water pump -try bleeding the cooling system-don't work, block and pressure test it-
