I've just received a 89 holden rodeo 2.6 petrol, Isuzu engine
I replaced the head due to an east west crack I 'ion the coil leads were fitted as about, with number 1 spark plug out, and number 1 piston TDC, the crank shaft timing marks are 180 degrees out, (timing marks are facing to the ground) when the number 1 piston is on TDC, as well as cam is 180 DG out!
The number 1 question is how can number 1 and 4 piston be TDC when the harmonic balancer can only go on one way!
