how do i bleed a slave cylinder?

i just replace a slave cylinder now i need to bleed it.

there is a bleeder on the outside of the bellhousing. have someone inside the truck to push wile you open the valve.
do not let them let the pedal up until you close the valve. do this several times till there is no more air.
