fuel issues

My 1989 ford f250 is not getting fuel from the front tank, although it is full of fuel.(gauge working). Rear tank works as far as sending fuel but the gas gauge does not work. Rear tank seems to be leaking and can't determine where.

There is a device that switches from one tank to the other. Check it for leaks and operation. Actually, you may want to contact your Ford dealer. They may have been a TSB on this issue.
