starter stays engaged when key is released on bronco2 2.9 liter v6 have changed starter , solenoid new battery and had alternater test good . runs fine for 3 starts or so then im stranded again w/dead battery and hanging starter

could also use a vacuum line diagram.

what is the voltage at the battery with the engine running

drops to 12.2 w/ a brand new battery sir.

then runs for about 20 min radio shuts off or if I turn on lights it dies starter hangs up on retry then of course dead battery

you have alternator issues. it should be 14 to 14.5 volts with engine running. this is what is drawing down your battery
