put new alternator on might charge for 5 min then starts to discharge have to charge every night cant drive long discharges about 30 miles of driving this model has built in reg and i have changed the plugs to alternator

What is the Alternator output voltage at the main Alt terminal. have you had the battery load tested as yet?
