how do i release the clutch cable from the pedal

How do i access the release pin? do i have to remove the pedal itself? i am having a hard time figuring out how to release the cable from the pedal

You need to release the tension by disconneting the end at transmission.

Our database indicates there is a bolt but I am not sure what type is used for your model.

If it has a pin, you need to straighten the cotter pin and pull it out before the central pin can be reomed. You need not remove the pedal.
