1989 chevy 1500

i have a 1989 chevy 1500 350 motor the air pump has been removed.....now the aircondioning pump went out can i just get a serpintine belt for the truck with out taking the airconditioning pump off ?? or what should i do??/

If the compressor isn't locked up, you should be able to get a belt. you will need to measure for it. If the compressor is locked up, contact a parts store and ask if they have a replacement (pully) that can take the place of the AC. Many are available.
