Does anybody know where this hose in the picture connect to? chevrolet celebrity 1989 2.8l

I bought the car used and the hose it's not connected to anything but then I saw this picture where it's connected. I think it's the reason why I'm having problems when the car is on idle so I'm hoping I can fix it, thanks.

I believe that goes to the modulator valve on the transmission.
