Where is the nurser switch on a 1989 Camero located? Any ideas as to what I'am doing wrong?

I have changed the steering colum but I put the key switch out of the old colum in the new one and know it wont crank over. But the turn signal work and the lighs work but I don't hear the fuel pump coming on. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

make sure the connector on the ignition switch are good and tight

If you're talking about inertia switch it doesn't come with it-Double check the ignition switch as suggested if okay-check the fuel pump relay

check for start signal is being sent from the ingition switch whyll the key is in start poss.if yes check for it at the starter.
