ok as before k5 with 5.7 tbi my problem as before is the same however seems to be affected by temp.. exp. yesterday 32 outside when i left ran great 65 when i came home and from the moment i started it it ran terrible stuttering or cutting out as if starving only code it shows is 44 lean condition thanks for your help

How long since a tune-up? I'd want to look at the 02 sensor signal. To see if it is showing lean? If it is lean, try to richen the the system, see if idle smooths out and if the 02 sensor signal changes.

check the gasket below the TBI unit they will blow and cause a vacuum leak, giving a lean condition. also will run poorly.
