Driving down the road it will just stop. It will start right up. Drive for a bit and then die again.

Does it coincidentally die when the throttle is let to rest, it could be a faulty nose switch in the ISC motor. If it does not open showing that the throttle has lifted, it will try and control the increasing engine speed by retracting the ISC pushrod all the way. The result is an abrupt closing of the throttle plates and a stall.
