What do i need to look for when replacing the muffler on my 1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'elegance?

I want to change out the muffler with a deeper sounding one. Is there anything i need to worry about or need when looking for a new one?

Modifications-the only way to tell is slap one on and see what happens if it'll turn on the CEL
