Head lights and highbeams went out. Is there a reset button or should I change the light swich?

That would be no and no.
The circuit needs to be diagnosed properly using a wiring diagram. There are many things that can knock the headlights out. Make sure you try the bulbs and fuses first.

I am not sure were all the fuse boxes are is there an additional fuse box in another part of the car. I have checked the one located on the inside of the car underneath the steering wheel colum. I also checked the bulbs.

There is a fusible link at the starter that powers the headlights.
