The inside driver door handle is broken. OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE WORKS FINE.

You may have to pull door panel and have a look. I don't like pulling door panels or dash panels, I usually break something. On some makes and models, I've seen the eye-hole break where the pull wire attaches, door handle, The piece was big enough, I just drilled a new hole. I don't know if that would work with your application, I'd have to look at it.
