1988 Toyota Tercel with 116k miles sat for 4 years. Runs great at driving speed, but the idle is good when cold, but rough (low) when warm, or will idle ok when warm, but drops low when a/c turned on. The idle increases when the a/c is turned on like it is suppose to but is rough (lobes). I have flushed carb, changed vaccum hoses that were cracked, replaced fuel filter, etc. all the basics. This car is a California model with lots of vaccum and emissions stuff. Any idea of which vaccum valve, module sensor, or other items might be causing the idle problems??? There a thermal air valve in the air cleaner, egr modulator, a bunch of other stuff. HELP thanks

The idling circuit could need some additional attention. Remove the fuel cut solenoid and use compressed air to blow through with the air fuel ratio screw slightly turned out.

Readjust air/fuel screwand idling speed and retest.

Have you tried adjusting the base idling speed?
