1988 Toyota Tarago water leak

i bought an old 88 tarago van that the previous owner said had done a head gasket. there is no water in the oil as i did an oil change. when the van is running and warms up there is a water/coolant leak behind the engine somewhere. there is not much room there and cannot see where the leak is coming from. do you have any ideas where this leak is coming from

Usually leaks are from water jackets, hoses, pipes etc and this is not going to help you. You need to visually inspect and locate the source of the leak to find out. Try using a mirror or you would have to remove the service cover to check.
