Do add on electric blowers/ superchargers provide any increases in fuel milage and horse power? It all seems to easy

A supercharger will add more horsepower but will likely decrease the reliability of the engine. Fuel mileage will probably not improve due to the technology of the engine management for the new blower.That engine was not designed for a supercharger.
