My '88 plymouth reliant's heating and air only blows from the floor and slightly from the top of the dash and when it does it's the same temp. Not hot or cold, just air. Irt also likes to stall whenever I have to brake suddenly. Any ideas on either subject?

As far as air-flow, I'd have to check the actuator doors under the dash. If they are vacuum controlled, I'd have to check vacuum also. With heater on, do heater hoses get hot? Do you have flow through the heater core?
