noise?

i turn my key to the accesories position and there is a buzzing noise coming from my automatic tranny any ideas what it might be

Are you sure it is from the trans and not a relay?

ya was under the car and the noise was coming from the tranny, could it be a relay in the tranny?

That is really odd. The only thing I can think of is if something is finding a ground through an electrical component in the trans. Check body grounds to make sure nothing is broken, rusted, or disconnected.

why would it sound like there is electricity going to a relay on the tranny that is making a high buzzing noise.

Like I said, this is really odd. However, electric is very odd. If a ground is lost, it will try to seal a different ground. It could be using the trans.
