I have an automatic 1988 Mazda 323. I'm trying to flush the transmission fluid and replace the gasket, but I'm not sure how to get to the pan. The whole underneath of the car is cover and I can't even see my transmission. Could you tell me where it's located?

You would need to remove the splash shield to get at the transmission oil pan.
