I was looking at buying this 1988 Lincoln Town Car Signature. The car is in excellent condition, went for test drive and and drove smoothly except for one thing. The temperature gauge was running relatively high. Unlike newer cars, this older town cars temp gauge has the "C" on the bottom and the "H" on the top. Whats different is that between the "C" and the "H" it reads (and literally spells out) the word normal. But the "problem" is the needle for the gauge isn't in the center between the "C" and "H", and got very close to the "H", but was technically in the "normal" zone. Thought someone might be able to help out. and the cars has 74,000 original miles on it, and no accidents. Thanks
