1988 Lincoln Town Car Could Wrong Liclon Starting Will Run Primed 40psi Fuel P

What could be wrong with my Lincoln not starting ? It will run when primed. It has 40 psi fuel pressure and has a new fuel filter, fuel pump. Is there a sensor that my be out or do i need to replace the ecc?

What liter engine ? 4/6/8 cylinder??????????????

The pressure is perfect. If it starts for a few seconds when primed, fuel isn't getting to the engine. Check to make sure there is power to the injectors. They may not be injecting fuel into the engine.
