1988 lincoln town car. battery connected backwards alternater fried.new alternater and battery replaced. now only getting 11.5 volt to battery.
whats my problem?

Have you checked all the fuses and fusable links iam sure if you hooked up the battery backwards you blew some of those.Did you have the old alternator tested to see if it was bad?
