At any speed the tach will go flat to zero, the car will lurch, then backfire then stall. Cannot be restarted. It has a rebuilt engine, trans, and carb. The problem is NOT the ignition coil or module. It is NOT the EGR valve, distr cap rotor or pickup. It is NOT the fuel filter, plugs or wires. Any othe rideas?
