jeep over heated and water was coming out of water resivour cap? how do i fix this water comes through the top of resiovor from one house and goes out other i beilive but isnt maybe pressurized enough to keep the flow in the closed cooling system on 88 jeep pionner?

There are a couple reasons this could happen.

First, is the jeep overheating?

This can be due to a bad thermostat, bad water pump, a leak anywhere in the system, lets start with the first question and go from there.
