Car runs fine then suddenly misfires and sputters. Sometimes I can disconnect the negative terminal and replace it and the car will run fine for awhile. Yesterday it ran fine for about twenty mile the there was a kind of single miss of the engine ran fine for another 2 miles and then began sputtering. Had to leave the car as it would not run right even with disconnecting the battery cable. It did this last year for awhile and then ran fine for 2 months until I put it up for the winter. There seems to have been water leaking in the passenger area at some time. Was wondering if something in the computer may be causing this. Replaced the fuel pump and filter last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
