how do i adjust the clutch ?

Engine runs great but the clutch wont engage, adjusted the cable then car lost drive

To adjust it correctly it will have 1 to 2 inches of free play at the top before meeting any resistance.

CLUTCH PEDAL

Loosen clutch cable lock nut and rotate until .16-.20" (4-5 mm) is obtained at release arm. See Fig. 1.

Clutch pedal disengagement height (from floor) should be about 3 In (83 mm).
