1988 Gmc Van Cause Transmission Move Off You Reach Stop Sign Shortly There

What can cause the transmission not to move off when you reach a stop sign and to move shortly there after. engine have ups its power, but the only way it move it is when you rev up the engine, and move at a lazey pase.

front pump failure in trans. it will have to come out and be overhauled.
