1988 GMC Truck stalls at stops

starts fine and runs till i come to stop then it dies. i have replaced torque convertor. map sensor, trottle body, and all little things around it. new fuel pump and filter. have had it checked out at a garage and they dont know what it is. was told could be part in transmission where wires pulg into it

check to see if your egr valve is hanging open or getting vacuum at idle. also check canister purge valve unplug vacuum line and plug the line and see if it still does it. if not replace the valve cause it should only open after you hit 30 mph
