I changed the cylinder head on my 2, 5L dodge engine and was told or read somewhere that I have to re-torque the head bolts after it has been driven. Is this right, and if so, when should it be done?

I don't recall doing that after driving it. However, if I recall, they were torqued in a sequence. After the initial torque, the head needs retorqued to a specific setting. But, that was all done before running the engine.
