I own a 1988 Dodge Dakota V6. Recently, the oil light came on and I filled it with oil. Now the light will either continuously stay on or it'll blink slowly when I drive it. But when I'm idle it stays off. I'm not sure if it's because of the catalytic converter going out or that my emission pump is out as well (as I'm getting it fixed this week). Please help!

If this is the oil pressure light, get the engine oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge, if all is correct re pressure specs, replace the sender unit, it will probably be faulty.
