That's WAY more involved than my fingerprints can hold up to typing. Get a service manual for the long list of instructions. I greatly prefer the manufacturer's manuals but you should find everything in a Chilton's or Haynes manual too. You can also find Mitchel from a link on this site, or AllData from a link on my web site.
It depends too on whether or not you have a transfer case. You'll be removing the transmission so be sure the truck is supported solidly on jack stands. You'll be jostling the truck around and the weight will be shifting.
