So does both your upper and lower radiator hose's get hot? When it's running hot is your fan clutch engaging the fan blade?

With the thermostat working correctly they should both get hot. So with the second thermostat it sound's like the thermostat isn't opening. With the first thermostat was that the one you changed because of the problem of it running so cool?Or was that a new one that caused a new problem?

Today I went and got a 180 Thermostat and put it in and it still over heated. With the 180 thermostat in it the top hose is cold until you turn off the motor and let it sit about 5 min. And then it gets warm. But the thermostat wont open. I boiled it and it open around 185-190 so I know that its working but it wont open when its in the car

That's strange since you said the other thermostat had flow and both hose's got hot so it look's like it's not a flow issue.I know this is a stupid question but are you sure the thermostat is in right?Since you said the other one flowed and this one didn't and you tested it and it opened.
