i have an 88 s10 and the 4wd still works! its a craigslist special i got for 500 bucks.

the engine runs great but leaks a lil oil. i do have some electrical problems though and a fuse box diagram is nowhere to be found for the thing, i searched your site and nothing dates back that old for the s10's. if you could help me out with that it would be greatly appreciated!

sorry its a 4.3 and power everything... not a bad deal considering how cheap parts are for it
