no reverse at all

We have a 1988 Chevrolet c 1500 half ton with a thm 700R transmission. reverse was acting up, so we decided to change the filter. now we have all drive gears, but no reverse at all

changed filter reverse was working now it is not

Is the transmission properly filled after replacing the filter? If its not working now get it pressure tested to find out more what's going on-
