88 monte carlo wiring harness shortage where are fusebil links and relays located

wiring harness set on my header and shorted out i replace alternaer starters good and ingnition moduel plus fusable link but in stead of a fusable link there was speaker wire there when i bought the car wat other fuses or relays should i check the motor was swaped for a 77 350 any clue wat i should do next the short was in the alternater wire

fusible links are down at the starter motor. there are 2 or 3 of them. get that speaker wire out of there and replace with the proper fused wire. re locate the harness away from the headers so it wont happen again.
