1988 chevrolet corsica. no brake or hazard lights. fuse is good. what next?

Check and test the directional and hazard switch and brake switch

Thank you for the advice however i checked them to no avail. Discovered that whoever wrote the owners manual was smoking something that day. LOL. The fuse diagram does not match the fuse box nor does the paper diagram on the cover. says i have 3 spares and only have 1. says 4 is brake and hazzards when in fact its 2 which they say is spare.
