if the catalic converter is bad will it make it use oil

i have to keep putting oil in my truck but i dont know where it is going it dont leak and dont smoke

A bad cat wont cause the engine to use oil.If its not leaking oil its burning it.

i understand that if its not keaking it it has to be burning it but the truck dont smoke at all

Before i redid my engine in my saturn it burned a ton of oil never saw smoke but it was still burning it.Just because you dont see smoke doesnt mean its not burning oil.
