Codes 34 and 44 show up but the CEL does not come on.

I would stat with the code 34 which is for mass airflow sensor low voltage nothing to do with a map sensor.The code 44 is for lean o2 sensor value which could be caused by the mass airflow problem.I posted the trouble tree for code 34 and all the info needed to diagnose it.Let me know what you find.

the MAP sensor is on top passenger side of the engine over the PCV valve.
