Scan for codes first and what engine is in it? If it's a 3.8 there wer some cars that had a bad crank sensor and wheel would go bad that triggered it. Also clean the throttle plate on both sides as well as the iac hole with choke cleaner. That acauses this kind aof problem sometimes as well. Get all the gunk off of it

Cross A&B with a paper clip count the flashs on the service light and go to the site here and look under OBD1. It does have an electronic module under the coil pak so you might go look under tune up it should cover your model and will tell you how to check it. Your crank sensor is on the backside above the transmission, not easy to get to. I really don't think that is it though as it starts right back up your fuel pressure should be 41-47 psi. If you just replaced the fuel pump you couldhave damaged the wires in the tank, they are very fine and there was a problem with those.
