How to Fix EML problem

Hi, My name is wadean and I have problem with my car (model 750IL BMW year 1988). When I start my car a few second, EML came out from the dashboard display. The Question is how to find solution to fix that problem. Thank you.

Hi Wadean,

EML = Electronic throttle control.

You would need to retrieve the troule code to proceed with rectification and special equipments, (BMW MoDIC (hand-held scan tester), BMW Service Tester (Sun 2013 Engine Analyzer) and applicable BMW diagnostic software) are required to enter self-diagnostics and retrieve 2-digit codes.

NOTE: When DME/Motronic control unit is disconnected or its power supply interrupted, all stored (hard) fault codes as well as substitute values are cleared/lost. Current (intermittent) fault codes cannot be cleared.
