why an engine oil mix up with a gas ?

my engine has been overhauled and right after some weeks of service the quantity of oil found to be high during morning check.mechanics were giving me several reasons and i replaced valve seals, gaskets,fuel pump,new carbureator,piston rings,plain bearings of cam and crank shafts but it is still going on mixing up.

could be an intake leak, short trips under a couple miles when cold etc.
