How can I make sure the torque tube is in the correct position when I install back in motor.

as long as it slides in ok you should be ok. see install instructions in pic. make sure to tighten tube bolts after eng/trans together. unfortunately we have no torque specs.

I personally don't know but I looked on line at ap warehouse and they had Timken for $77 each that is a good brand.
