2.8 liter v6 rebuilt engine everything is new. trying to tune it up and having problems i was told to dis conect a brown and black wire from the wiring harness, that is susposed to disconect the computer before setting the timing, do you know anything about this and if so where this wire is located and where it would be connected to any help is appreciated thank you .leonard

if you cannot find the connector, then use a paper clip on the aldl connector under the dash on the 2 pins in the upper right of the connector. that will put it in base timing
