My car is knocking when I start it. It continues to knock when i press on the gas. Is this my rods? How long will I have until they completly go out?

It's either the connecting rod bearings, or cranksahft bearings(jounals), no telling how long! Could last a long time, but you do need to check the engines oil pressure, the pump may be bad, and if thats the reason for all the knocking, time is short!
