my vehicle has been at 4 mechanics cannot find problem, it now starts, idles, but dies when you put it in drive, you can put in reverse thou runs rough, we have replaced everything known, starters new, fuel pump, filters, distributer, plugs, wires, ignition coil, carb.

seeing how old that thing is, it might be the TPS if you havn't tried that yet?

and again due to age, the EGR valve and it's temp operated vacuum control switch. is anybody mechanically inclined around there?
