1987 Maxima, turn signals no longer working and right headlight out. Something in common here? Have not tested or done any troubleshooting thus far; wondering where to start. Thanks.

Start by checking fuses and the headlight bulb. Is only high beam not working or both?
Are the hazard lights working?

Okay, the headlights are now working (mysteriously), high and low beam. For the turn signals (of which none are working), I've ohm'd the underdash fuse and it's good. I also pulled the switch out of the steering column and ohm'd it out, tested good also. Not sure what all other components are in the circuit, but my next thought would be a relay of some sort? Possibly not engaging... not sure where it is though. Any help? Thanks for input so far.

Found the relay, tested good. I assume it's not bad since the lamps do not turn on at all. Not sure where to go next.

Well... yes. Now as an update, after reassembling everything, the turn signals work, the flashers work, headlights... all is well. Loose connection is all I can figure; the reseating of everything must've done the trick.

Yes, something must had been loose and fiddling around solved the problem.

Have a nice day.
